    Description

This class is an introduction to our campus, procedures, and protocols. It’s designed for Volunteer Handlers who are ready to take the next step in their training.

    You’ll learn:

    • Safety protocols: PPE, bite-risk awareness, dog-to-dog/dog-to-human spacing, safe movement through doors and aisles

    • Kennel procedures: cleaning sequence, sanitation standards, supplies, labeling, and waste handling

    • Classroom procedures: setup/tear-down, traffic flow, handling reactive or stressed dogs, and supporting instructors

    • Incident reporting: what to document, who to notify, and where to find form

You must be an approved Volunteer Handler (background/onboarding already completed) to participate.  Interested in becoming a Volunteer Handler at the Dog Alliance, let us know!
