Every dog here was bred and raised to the same standards as our service dogs, with health-tested parents, steady temperaments, and an early start from our professional trainers. Since we only have a few each year, we take our time finding the right home for each one

Thoughtfully Bred, Health Tested

We breed every litter based on the health and temperament of both parents. Our health testing goes beyond what the Canine Health Information Center (CHIC) requires, and the results are public. You can look up our breeding dogs on the OFA database anytime.

What Is a Career Change Dog?

Service work means hours of focus in busy stores and crowds, and some dogs would rather run a trail or curl up on the couch. When our trainers see that, they place the dog with a family instead. You still get the same breeding, health testing, and early training, in a dog whose personality fits home life.

Who Our Dogs Are Right For

Our dogs go home with all kinds of families. Each dog is different, so check their profile or ask us which homes they’d fit best.

We share what we’ve seen of each dog’s temperament, so you know what to expect. When you meet the dog, bring the whole family, kids included, so everyone can spend time together first.

Our dogs come with a head start from our professional trainers, like early house training, crate time, and basic cues, depending on their age. You’ll keep building on it at home, and our trainers and classes are here to help.

Love to hike, run, or spend weekends outside? Some of our dogs, like our Whippets, have the energy to keep up. Each dog’s profile lists their energy level and what they enjoy.

Many of our dogs grow up around other dogs. If you already have one, bring them to the meet-and-greet so we can see how they get along.

Some of our dogs have the calm, people-loving temperament that therapy work needs. If that’s your goal, ask us which dogs might be a good fit. Our therapy dog training classes can help you prepare for an evaluation.
